POLICE: 3 arrested after cocaine, juvenile found in Hazelwood apartment
Police say they found several things inside an apartment off Bluegrass Avenue that led to multiple charges.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say three adults were arrested Sunday evening, after officers found marijuana, Xanax pills, cocaine -- and a juvenile -- in an apartment in the area of the Hazelwood neighborhood.
According to arrest reports, the incident took place at about 12:30 p.m. at the apartment of 21-year-old Abel Triana-Soler in the 4100 block of La Salle Avenue, off Bluegrass Avenue.
Police say they were sent to the apartment after someone reported that a Hispanic man was armed with a gun and dragging a Hispanic female in a purple dress.
When officers arrived, they say they could hear yelling coming from inside the apartment. They also say they found a bicycle that had been reported stolen days earlier outside the apartment.
According to an arrest report, police say they found four people inside the home, including Triana-Soler, 26-year-old Jose Lopez-Valle and 19-year-old Alexis Kelly.
The fourth person was a juvenile female of undisclosed age -- someone who fit the description of the woman in the purple dress provided to police.
Police say they feared someone might be kidnapped or injured, so they searched the home. Inside, they allegedly found a rifle, ammunition, bags of suspected marijuana, hundreds of Xanax pills, suspected cocaine and numerous examples of drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested Triana-Soler, Lopez-Valle and Kelly. They are all charged with enhanced trafficking in marijuana, enhanced possession of drug paraphernalia, enhanced trafficking in a controlled substance, enhanced possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor.
Triana-Soler is also charged with receipt of stolen property.
