LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Six months after a young mother was killed in a hit-and run-crash in LaRue County, a man indictment was indicted in her murder.

A Larue County Grand Jury indicted 33-year-old Matthew Howsden, of Louisville. He's charged with the death of 28-year-old Stephanie Jensen, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to render aid.

Kentucky State Police say Jenson was driving on Campbellsville Road in November when Howsden's Chevy Equinox swerved into her lane. hitting and killing her. They say Howsden ran away on foot.

Jensen was a mother to two young boys.
