LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The "I Am Ali" Festival continues this week to honor the life and legacy of "The Greatest."

The festival began Friday at Slugger Field where the Louisville Bats hosted a Muhammad Ali Appreciation Night to start the celebration.

Several events were held on Saturday, including a memorial bike ride that rode past several landmarks including Ali's childhood home, Central High School, Spalding University and the Columbia Gym, where he got his start.

A screening of the movie "I Am Ali" was held at the end of the Globalou festival, also held on Saturday. The festival's theme this year was diversity in Kentucky and coming together as neighbors to celebrate everyone in the community.

The festival marks the 2nd anniversary of Ali's death, and runs through June 10 with a focus on Ali's giving spirit and his love for Louisville.
