LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keeping kids busy during the summer can be a chore. WDRB's Keith Kaiser found a place that will keep them moving.
Horizons Dance Theatre's mission is to nurture the enjoyment and health benefits of dance. Students of all ages and skill levels can get better at dance ability, musicality, creativity, self-expression and confidence.
The business offers Creative Movement (Mommy/Daddy and Me for ages 2-3), Pre-Ballet with Creative Movement for preschoolers, Ballet & Tap for Kindergarten, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern dance for ages 7 and up. Horizons Dance Theatre shares studio space with Academy of Flamenco Arts. Small class sizes allow for special teacher attention.

Horizons Dance Theatre launched its first Dance Outreach and Wellness program in August 2017 at the Masonic Home, serving individuals facing cognitive challenges. It emphasizes the benefits of holistic body therapy approaches for improved health and quality of life.
