LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville City FC will take on a Major League Soccer team Tuesday night at U of L's Lynn stadium.

Lou City will host the New England Revolution in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup. The tournament mixes teams from various levels across the country.

It will be just the second time Lou City has faced an MLS team, and it's the team's first opportunity to host.

The club lost to the Chicago Fire in 2015.

Louisville City FC team captain Paolo DelPiccolo says it's a rare opportunity, and the squad will be ready.

"We're very excited, and hungry to do well," DelPiccolo said.

The game starts at 7 p.m.
