LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man after authorities say he stabbed two people after getting into an argument over loud music.

Damone Williams, 27, was arrested early Monday morning at his home in the 200 block of North 35th Street near Rowan Street.

According to a police report, officers responded to a reported stabbing. When police arrived, they found two people with stab wounds.

Officials say Williams was found inside his home.

Police say both and the victims stated that an argument had taken place concerning loud music being played by the victims. Williams and the victims had consumed alcohol over the course of the evening, according to police.

The argument escalated when Williams confronted the victims about turning off the music for the night. Investigators say the argument then turned physical.

The victims where taken to U of L Hospital.

Williams is charged with two counts of first-degree assault. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections and is expected in court Tuesday.
