LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Florida were trying to load an alligator into a truck when one of the officers was knocked out after the gator headbutted him.

The officer was one of several trying to load the 8-foot gator into a truck. The reptile's jaws and feet were bound, but it was still dangerous, as it continued to struggle, lunging away from officers.

Another officer was hit in the face when the gator whipped its tail.

The alligator was found in the neighborhood, and the group was trying to relocate it.
