1 man shot and killed in Iroquois neighborhood
Officers found a black man in his 20s dead on the scene.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One man was shot and killed Thursday evening in the Iroquois neighborhood.
LMPD Spokesman Dwight Mitchell said it happened just after 5 p.m. in the 5400 block of Mitscher Avenue near South Third Street. Officers found a black man in his 20s dead on the scene.
Mitchell said they have not made any arrests, and there are no suspects. Two men were arrested at the scene, but they aren't connected to this case right now.
This was the 39th homicide of 2018 in Metro Louisville, Mitchell said.
