Anonymous tip leads to arrest of Louisville man for drugs, stolen guns
Police say anonymous tips do matter.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested early Sunday morning, after police say an anonymous tip led to the discovery of drugs and stolen firearms.
According to an arrest report, officers were sent to the home of 29-year-old Quinn Turner, in the 3600 block of Craig Avenue, near Carlisle Avenue, just after 4:30 Sunday morning. An anonymous tip was received that drug activity was taking place there.
Police say when they arrived, they were given access to the home.
Inside, they allegedly found over six ounces of meth, just over one ounce of heroin, dozens of Lortab pills, marijuana, two stolen handguns and a large amount of cash.
Police arrested Turner and charged him with enhanced trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), enhanced trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), enhanced receipt of stolen property (firearms), enhanced possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
A second accomplice was cited, according to police.
