LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cold, hard cash hidden around Louisville is up for grabs.

Breakout Games is hosting a treasure hunt Wednesday night to celebrate its newest escape room called "Runaway Train."

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., $100 bills will be hidden throughout Nulu, the Highlands, and Butchertown. A total of $2,000 will up for grabs.

Every 30 minutes, participants get a clue to where the cash is through text or on social media.

Breakout Games spokeswoman Cassie Dilly said it's a fast, fun game.

"The money goes quick. You would be surprised how fast people are able to work together to use their problem solving skills and then find where we've hidden the cash. So if you want to play, you need to get out there and get ready to move," she said.

To sign up for the game and get the clues messaged to you, text "Louisville Hunt" to 31996. It's free to play.
