LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dozens of men and women came together on Saturday to kick cancer where it hurts as part of the the "Kickballin' for Kids" kickball tournament.

Eighteen teams converged on Water Tower Park for the 7th annual event. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit children fighting cancer at Norton Children's Hospital.

"It's amazing the things they do for the kids," said Neil Kessler of the National Kickball Association. "It's inspiring, and just to be a part of doing something like this, it's very rewarding."

Over the last seven years the National Kickball Association has raised over $50,000 for pediatric cancer. The goal is to keep the event going year after year.
