People have asked for it and now the rain and storms are on the doorstep. Today WILL NOT give the same kind of coverage as Thursday and Friday. Scattered pop ups develop today, but multiple rounds of showers and storms blow in on and off tomorrow and Friday. We're looking at a 70%-80% chance Thursday and Friday. 3 day rain amounts will give some a half inch to an inch. Unfortunately some areas will exceed 2" in a short period of time. This could lead to a few flood warnings.

Some storms will be strong with a ton of lightning and gusty winds to 45mph.  I would imagine a few severe storm warnings could be issued, but widespread severe weather isn't expected. Much of the rain will be a benefit, but the stronger storms need to be taken seriously. With many more clouds tomorrow and Thursday we will snap the consecutive stretch of days in the 90s.
