Suspect in teen's homicide appears in Louisville court
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A teen was shot and killed in broad daylight and now Louisville Metro Police believe they've found his killer.
Joshua Price, 21, is behind bars at Louisville Metro Corrections, charged with murder for a fatal shooting that happened earlier this month.
Price was arraigned inside the jail on Wednesday morning. Police say he shot and killed 19-year-old Abdifatah Hussein on the afternoon of June 7. The teen's body was found behind a building on Mitscher Avenue, near South Third Street in the Iroquois neighborhood.
Hussein was shot several times.
Police records say detectives interviewed several witnesses, who gave information that led police to identify Price as the shooter.
He's being held on a $100,000 bond, and the judge denied a request to lower it. The judge also ordered Price to not have any firearms or any other deadly weapons.
Price will remain in jail unless he can post bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again later this month.
