Coroner identifies men killed in Frankfort double homicide
Autopsies for both men are scheduled for Wednesday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have released the names of two men who killed in a double shooting that happened in Frankfort.
The victims were 22-year-old Jared Moore and 24-year-old Dustin Johnson, both of Frankfort, according to Coroner William Harrod.
According to WKYT, the shooting happened Tuesday around 5:45 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Alexander Street and Leslie Avenue.
The coroner says Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. Johnson was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center, where he died.
WKYT reports that a third man, who was a friend of the victims and was at the home, called to report the incident. One of the victims lived at the home, while the other person was a frequent visitor.
Authorities say some electronics are missing. Police do not have any suspects at the present time.
Autopsies for both men are scheduled for Wednesday. Officials say the final results will not be available for several weeks.
