LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say brutally attacked an elderly victim.

According to a spokesman for LMPD, the assault took place in the parking lot of Walgreens near the intersection of South 35th Street and West Broadway on Friday, June 8.

Police are releasing little information about the assault, but they do say the victim remains in the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the suspect's vehicle is a four-door 2000s model Ford Taurus with a temporary tag.
