CityScoot announces closure after 14 years in operation
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville-based CityScoot has transported their last customer.
The transportation service made the announcement on their Facebook page Thursday, saying their final night of service would be Saturday, June 30.
CityScoot opened in 2004 aimed to provide a safe and reliable option for residents of Jefferson County and surrounding areas to have a designated driver.
The business was the first fully insured designated driver service in the U.S., providing professional drivers to drive customers home in their own vehicle.
CityScoot says they have helped safely transport over 140,000 customers and their vehicles in the Louisville area since 2004.
