ISP investigating after shooting in Crawford County leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
ENGLISH, Ind. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police are investigating after a shooting in southwest Indiana left a man dead and another man injured.
ISP troopers in Jasper say they were called to the shooting around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the 25000 block of Easy Street, which is just south of Sulphur.
Officials tell WDRB two men were shot, one fatally. The other man was injured transported to an area hospital. The condition of that male victim and the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
The name of the man killed has not yet been released.
An autopsy is expected to be performed early this week, according to police.
Officials say more information will be released as it becomes available.
