Man sentenced to prison for murder of Louisville mother
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of killing a Louisville mother has been sentenced to prison.
Brandon Williamson pleaded guilty to manslaughter in May. In court Thursday, a judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison.
Authorities say he shot and killed Amber Stepp on Rowan Street in May 2016. Court records show Williamson was initially charged with complicity to murder.
Stepp's family says she had a history of drug use and crime, but appeared to be doing better before her death.
