Over 2 acres of land in Springfield, Oregon is now charred after a drone crashed and burned. Investigators say the drone's pilot was distracted by a dog that wasn't wearing a leash. Firefighters acted as quickly as possible to get the brush fire under control. Speaking of dry, the U.S. Drought Monitor came out with an update earlier today. Moderate drought dominates most of Oregon with exceptional drought plaguing the Four Corners region of the country. Back closer to home, we've avoided the drought for now, but the dry conditions to our west allows the heat to build fast. Marc and I will be on WDRB timing out our next rain chance.
