LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have made an arrest one day after a bank on Bardstown Road was robbed. 

Police say Brannon Shelburne was arrested around 8 a.m July 13 by LMPD Robbery Detectives with help from Metro Nashville PD SWAT and Central Patrol.

Police say it happened around 9 a.m. July 12 at the US Bank at 2350 Bardstown Road, near Wrocklage Avenue.

Police say Shelburne gave a bank employee a note indicating he had a gun and demanded money.

He was able to leave the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.

In a Facebook post, police said someone identified the suspect 10 minutes after surveillance photos from the robbery were released.

He will be extradited to Kentucky to face charges.
