LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have released more details about an SUV they believe hit and killed a woman in east Louisville.

Police found the body of 24-year-old Jadylynn Rebecca Myers on July 10 on Shelbyville Road near Valhalla. Police believe someone hit her as she was walking on July 9.  The driver did not stop.

In a post on social media last week, Louisville Metro Police stated they believed the vehicle was a 2003 to 2005 purple Honda Element.

An updated post on Monday from the LMPD Twitter account indicates investigators now believe the SUV is a 2006-2008 Honda Element. The color is described as "Root Beer."

Investigators say, based on evidence found at the scene, the SUV likely has damage to its right side, including a missing mirror.
