Program provides free pre-K services to some southern Indiana children
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some southern Indiana children could be on their way to pre-K for free this year.
The On My Way Pre-K program is open to families in 20 Indiana counties, including Floyd County, Harrison County and Jackson County. The program provides 53 weeks of free pre-school and child care at pre-approved facilities.
It is state-funded is available for families at or below 127 percent of the federal poverty level.
Both parents must be working or in an education program.
