LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after police say he pulled a complete stranger into his home and raped her.

According to an arrest report, the crime took place at the home of 34-year-old Selvin Caballero, near the intersection of Estele Avenue and Steedly Drive, off Southside Drive.

Police say Caballero pulled a woman into his home, took her into his bedroom and shoved her onto the bed. He then allegedly held her down and tried to pull her shorts down.

The woman continued to struggle and scream for help, as Caballero proceeded to rape her.  Eventually, police say the woman pushed Caballero off of her and ran out of the house. She then immediately called her mother, who contacted 911.

Police arrested Caballero at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. He's charged with first-degree rape. He's also being detained on a charge related to immigration and naturalization.
