Blues, Brews, and Barbecue Festival marks 21st year
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After being cooped up during Friday's severe weather, many people chose to get out Saturday and enjoy some good food and music.
The Blues, Brews, and Barbecue Festival was held at the Louisville Water Tower Park. This year's festival marks the 21st year for the event.
Organizers say it features the region's best barbecue, and is known for its craft brews.
Several different blues acts also took the stage. Attendees say it was a great way to kick back and relax.
"I just like the atmosphere. It's so nice, and calm and laid back and I just love it, just love it," Sabrina Young said.
Other attendees brought friends from out of town to enjoy what the festival had to offer.
"We got some friends in from out of town, (and) wanted to go see some sights around town," Scott McCoy said. "Come out and listen to some good music, eat some good food and drink some good beer."
The two-day event started Friday, but many people were forced to leave when severe weather struck.
