Notice the way the smoke is spinning around this wildfire in Blythe, California.  The heat created a spinning vortex! Then you can see it turn into a water spout in the Colorado River. 


This is not a tornado - in fact, it's more similar to the dust devils we show you lots of videos of here on the blog.  The spinning is created by the incredible difference in temperature over the fire and just outside it. Since this one was created by the heat from the fire, we can call it a "firenado."
