LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jeep is back with it's rightful owner after being stolen last week.

Michael Ohlemacher's 1998 Jeep Wrangler was stolen while he was at work at Norton Audubon Hospital last Wednesday.

He thought he would never see it again, but got a call Friday that it had been found on Grade Lane near the Louisville airport.

The license plate, stereo, and light bar were gone, and it had damage to the inside and outside.

Inside investigators found receipts from a local gas station and a syringe.

Ohlemacher says social media helped get the word out.

"People have been very supportive," he said. "I've gotten lots of positive comments, good wishes on it. I have friends that already gave me the radio that he took out of his Jeep when he upgraded to put back into this one."

Although he has his Jeep back, Ohlemacher says he's not optimistic the thief will be found.
