LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of killing a woman in a hit-and-run crash in east Louisville pleads not guilty.

Taylor Satterly appeared in court on Monday morning.

Satterly is accused of hitting 24-year-old Jadylynn Myers on July 9. Her body was found the next day along Bircham Road near the Valhalla Golf Club in east Louisville.

Satterly is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with evidence. Police say Satterly took his car to get it repaired.

He's not charged with murder, because prosecutors say there was no evidence he intended to kill Myers.
