LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The city of Louisville is accepting debris left over from last week's storms. 

Jefferson County residents with storm debris can drop it off for free at the Metro Waste Reduction Center at 636 Meriwether Avenue through July 27.

The free service for tree limbs and other debris is available to Jefferson County residents only.

You must show proof of residency in the form of a government issued identification card. 

No construction or demolition materials, shingles, municipal garbage or man-made materials will be accepted. Contractors are not eligible and must pay the posted fees. 

The center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
