LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)--For a second straight game Louisville City ran away from an opponent.

The Boys in Purple beat Ottawa 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Paolo Delpiccolo opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a diving header off a set piece. Oscar Jimenez delivered a great ball off the corner kick.

Jimenez helped create another goal in the second half but this time with a free kick. He put the ball directly on to the foot of Paco Craig in the box. Craig buried it to give Lou City a 2-0 lead.

That lead extended to 3-0 in the 57th minute. Speedy Williams found a loose ball and scored and just a week after beating Charlotte 4-1, Louisville City beat Ottawa 3-0. They're outscoring opponents 7-1 since an embarrassing 4-0 loss to the Chicago Fire in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals.

Louisville City returns home to play the Indy 11 on Sunday, August 5th.
