LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's Big Four Bridge will be a little less colorful for a while.

The Waterfront Development Corporation said in a news release Monday that recent storms damaged the lighting controllers for the decorative lights on the bridge. The LED lighting system suffered major damage.

The lights will be left off until consultants can pinpoint the problem and estimate the cost of repairs. Then park officials will have to figure out how to pay for the lights to be fixed. The consultant is expected later this week.

The bridge will remain open to users, since interior lights are still working.
