Now that the greatest rain threat has moved on we look at the well timed rain that occurred for *most* locations in Kentuckiana. We had many winners with widespread amounts of a half inch to an inch. As you can see on the radar estimate maps some locally heavy rain lead to more than 2". The majority of the rain soaked into the ground and helped following a stretch of dry weather that lasted a bit more than a week.

The map below shows the rip off zone that couldn't hit paydirt in the rain department. Some farmers in Grayson, Hart and Larue counties are still looking for some thirst quenchers. Other than the slightest of chances for a brief pop up the rain show is coming to end for a few days.
