Man accused of murdering Georgetown woman says God told him to do it
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a murder suspect had a disturbing reason for killing a woman.
When police arrested 36-year-old Hunter Moore for murdering a woman in Georgetown, Kentucky, he reportedly told police he heard God tell him to beat a demon from the victim.
That's according to an article on WKYT's website.
A neighbor called police around 4:30 p.m. Thursday after finding the woman on the floor inside a home.
Police say Moore beat the unidentified victim in the head, arms, knees and stomach with a baseball bat. Moore told police the woman asked him why he was beating her during the fatal attack. Police say he also told them he regretted his actions.
Authorities say they have been called to the home in the past to investigate disturbances.
Moore was being held at the Scott County Detention Center.
