MEADE COUNTY, Ky. (WDRB) -- A skimmer was recently found on an ATM in Brandenburg, Kentucky.

The device, which is designed to scrape bank card numbers when someone puts it into the machine, was found at the Cecilian Bank on By-Pass Road.

The device has been removed, but now the bank, police and customers are hoping the suspects are in custody soon.

Cecilian Bank management released a statement on the bank's Facebook page to alert customers:

"For a short time on Saturday, we had an ATM Skimmer placed on our Brandenburg ATM. We have contacted each customer that used the machine during that time and have taken proper precautions to avoid fraud."

The bank also posted pictures of the suspects and a description of their vehicles: a 2001 White Toyota Corolla Sport Edition with a Kentucky temporary tag and a white Mazda van with a Tennessee tag.

The Brandenburg Police Department is investigating the case, but it will eventually be turned over to Kentucky State Police.
