LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's favorite fall tradition, the St. James Court Art Show, is back for its 62nd year.

Recently named the 12th best "Fine Arts and Craft Show in the U.S." by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

The St. James Court Art Show happens on Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6 from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. as well as Sunday, October 7 from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

During this three-day event more than 160,000 people will discover unique works of art in 17 artistic mediums, from clay to wood, and everything in between.

In addition to the hundreds of artists that travel from all over the country, and beyond, to exhibit at St. James Court Art Show, 97 artists from Kentucky were selected to participate this year.

All Kentucky Crafted (a Kentucky state run program) artists display a sticker on their Booth Card indicating the total number of years they've exhibited at the art show.

Of the near 700 artists participating this year, 60% are returning, and 34 artists have exhibited at St. James for more than 25 years.

Admission is free, but please leave your dogs at home.
