Let your creativity run wild with the Louisville Miniature Club
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Miniature Club puts on their 6th annual Show and Sale Saturday, October 13th.
The group was founded in 1973 by Janette Hutchison and is part of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (N.A.M.E.).
Many hobbyists use their talents to create one of kind scenes full of miniature furniture, dishes, windows and more.
Each dollhouse or structure comes to life on small scale.
LMC is active in the community, putting on exhibits and programs that are open to the public, as well as a show and sale in October.
Many members have received ribbons from the KY State Fair for their miniatures.
All scales are represented: one inch, half scale, quarter scale, and micro-minis.
Regular meetings for the months of April, May, June, July, August, and September are held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
For October, November, December, January, February, and March, meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
All meetings take place at Beargrass Christian Church.
