LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — There weren’t many games to stir an overreaction from the opening week of the college basketball season. Only four Top 25 teams lost — and two (Kentucky and Michigan State) lost to ranked opponents.

Here is my Week Two ballot in the Associated Press college basketball Top 25, with minor tweaking and shuffling.

1. Duke (2-0) — If you’re already tired of the Duke hype machine, I’d suggest investing your time in following esports.

2. Kansas (1-0) — The Jayhawks didn’t do anything wrong. They’re just not Duke.

3. Gonzaga (2-0) — When was the last time Gonzaga wasn’t good?

4. Tennessee  (2-0) — Remember that Louisville will spend Thanksgiving with the Vols.

5. Virginia (2-0) — My pick as the first team that will beat Duke.

6. North Carolina (2-0) — Hat tip to Roy Williams. He started the Tar Heels’ season with two road wins.

7. Nevada (2-0) — Better do your homework on Eric Musselman’s team. They’re not going away.

8. Kansas State (2-0)) — Bruce Weber’s best team since he left Illinois.

9. Kentucky (1-1) — Don’t spread this around but Army only lost to Duke by 22 — in Durham.

10. Villanova (2-0) — It’s hard to believe this is a Top 10 team after losing four starters, but it could be.

11. Michigan State (1-1) — Tom Izzo has a nice squad, but not a great one.

12. Virginia Tech (1-0) — Buzz Williams has his best team in Blacksburg.

13. Michigan (2-0) — The Wolverines won their first two by 19 and 19.

14. Auburn (2-0) — Bruce Pearl sounds really, really, really excited about his team.

15. Oregon (2-0) — The best of a diminished Pac-12.

16. Mississippi State (2-0) — We’ll know more about the Bulldogs when they play Arizona State next Monday.

17. Syracuse (2-0) — Jim Boeheim’s son (Buddy) is in the Orange rotation —and he’s missed nine of 10 shots from distance.

18. Florida State (2-0) — The Seminoles knocked Florida out of my Top 10.

19. Buffalo (2-0) — Road win at West Virginia. Pay attention, voters.

20. UCLA (2-0) — The Bruins have two more gimmes before facing Michigan State.

21. TCU (2-0) — Another group of Jamie Dixon grinders.

22. Marquette (2-0) — The Golden Eagles’ trip to Indiana Wednesday is one of the more interesting games of the week.

23. Wisconsin (1-0) — Triple double for Ethan Happ.

24. Texas (2-0) — Shaka Smart slowly collecting the necessary pieces.

25. Clemson (2-0) — Even Dabo Swinney admires the job Brad Brownell is doing.
