LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Scott Satterfield has officially been the Louisville head football coach for a little more than 24 hours.

He said in his introductory news conference Tuesday that he'd immediately get started building out his staff before heading out on the recruiting trail in an attempt to bolster the Cardinals' 2019 roster.

After one day on the job, Satterfield spoke with the media ahead of the Louisville men's basketball game against Central Arkansas at the KFC Yum! Center.

Satterfield said he'll "predominantly" look outside of Louisville coaches to fill out his staff. He mentioned he liked what he saw from Louisville's wide receivers, running backs and defensive backs, but said improvement is needed across the board, particularly at quarterback, tight end and another positions.

He added that he'll get busy recruiting next week once he sees where the biggest needs lie.
