Jeffersontown Police say teens' plot involved violence against classmates

Two Jefferson County teenagers have been charged with terroristic threatening.  Jeffersontown Police say the alleged plot involved beating up or possibly shooting classmates.

Jeffersontown Police arrested the teens Tuesday night for allegedly spray painting graffiti on businesses.  But that's when officers discovered the teens may have been plotting an attack on classmates.

One of the teens attends Jeffersontown High School and the other is a student at Carrithers Middle School.  The boys reportedly told police they wanted to get even with bullies.

Jeffersontown Police Chief Rick Sanders explains, "They talked about beating them up.  They talked about how they could get weapons and possibly shoot them.  But again, there was not specific plans as to how they were going to carry this out."

Police don't believe there was any immediate threat.   Meanwhile, both students have been suspended for the rest of the school year.
