Fathers develop skills needed to support their children

Some fathers who failed to pay their child support are being recognized for turning their lives around.

TARC has hired some of the dads.  "Turning It Around" is a Metro Corrections alternative sentencing program.  It's designed to help incarcerated fathers develop the skills needed to support their children.

Child Support Director George Boehnlein explains that it's one of the most positive things he's seen to make sure children receive support."

The job skills portion of the program resulted in eight fathers accepting job offers from TARC.
