People who usually want the government to leave them alone are now demanding that government do something to rescue us from sky-high gas prices. But too many of them won't take any personal responsibility for the situation.
As long as we won't use public transportation, carpool, walk a lot more or get rid of our gas guzzlers, we'll never decrease our demand for oil. And as long as demand stays high, so will the price.
Our words say we want lower prices. But our actions tell a different story.
