My recent Point of View about the unbalanced liberal slant on the Courier-Journal editorial board generated quite a bit of feedback, and most of it was very supportive.
For instance, Jim of Crestwood wrote, "I applaud your stance that there needs to be more balance in the editorial comments of the newspaper. Actually, more balance is needed at the majority of news agencies."
Meanwhile, Michelle of Louisville had this to say: "Thank you for slamming the Courier-Journal for their overtly liberal views. They think they're losing readers because of the Internet. But in reality, we're just tired of getting propaganda instead of news."
There were those who didn't agree, such as Brian of Jasper, Indiana who said, "To really defend our great nation, we must expose people like Bush, Cheney and McConnell. Thank God for the Courier-Journal and people with brains to think and eyes to see."
But for the most part, our correspondents were glad to see someone providing a counterpoint to the local newspaper - like Kent of Louisville who wrote, "Please take on the C-J every time you can. There are some sanctimonious hypocrites on their editorial board, and they absolutely hold this community back."
As always, we appreciate all your feedback whether it supports or slams us, and we hope you'll keep it coming.
I'm Bill Lamb, and that's your Point of View.
