Oxycontin investigation leads to bigger find

An investigation of oxycontin use leads to a bigger find.  The Bullitt County Drug Task Force burned marijuana from a drug bust Thursday morning.

It was found in an elaborate operation in a Shepherdsville home.

Members of the Drug Task Force were doing an investigation of oxycontin when they found the marijuana.  Joseph Mattingly, David Brown, and Jonathan Lynch all face charges.

Besides the marijuana operation, police found over 20 oxycontin pills.  Kenny Hardin of the task force says, "All of it was trafficked, it was going to be misdirected, misused, none of it was prescripted and you never know where these pills will wind up."

Police say they started the investigation after a pharmacist raised a red flag.  The Drug Task Force is investigating other cases that may be connected.
