3 die in Hazard, KY convenience store shooting
A top county official says a man shot and killed a magistrate and a county employee at an eastern Kentucky convenience store, then turned the gun on himself.
Perry County Judge-Executive Denny Ray Noble says Magistrate Jimmy Darrell Neace and county road department employee Lewallen Caudill were killed by another man.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Tony Watts says the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday at Ben's Quick Stop.
Perry County Deputy Coroner Kyle Wolfe said it appeared to be a murder-suicide.
Hazard is more than 100 miles southeast of Lexington.
