Police make an arrest in the case of a 20-year-old shot and killed in a fast food restaurant parking lot last year.

This weekend, police charged Charles Bonner and Anthony Hill with murder in the August 2007 death of Robert Robinson.  Robinson was shot in the face in the White Castle parking lot at 7th and Broadway.

Police say the two were involved in a robbery on Second Street in September.  Police also say they found a weapon during the crime and confirmed it was also used in Robinson's murder.  The two have been behind bars since the robbery arrest in September.

Lt. Barry Wilkerson with the LMPD Homicide unit says, "There was no danger to the community because these subjects were already incarcerated.  So there was no issue with them being released at the time.  We'll be seeking indictments with the Commonwealth's Attorney sometime later this week.

Police first thought the shooting was random.  They now believe there may be more to it, but would not release more information.
