Louisville may have its first case of salmonella from tainted tomatoes

Louisville may have its first case of salmonella from tainted tomatoes.

The Metro Health Department says it's investigating whether a Louisville woman with salmonella suffers from the same strain associated with the tomatoes.

Lab test results are expected back by early next week.  The Health Department says salmonella cases are very common.

Nationally, the tomatoes have sickened nearly 170 people and have been pulled from grocery stores and restaurants.
