Second man charged in stabbing death of a Louisville woman

A second man is facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in a Louisville halfway house.  Nicholas Thornton is charged with complicity to murder.

Police say he distracted a Dismas House employee while a federal inmate stabbed to death Deann Elliott.

54 year old Randy Bowman is charged with her death.  Police say Thornton knew Bowman had an ice pick and intended to kill Elliott.

All lived in Dismas House, a minimum security halfway house.  Thornton has been in the facility since February on drug and other charges.
