Two men charged in halfway house stabbing death plead not guilty

Not guilty -- that's the plea from the two men charged in the stabbing death of a woman at a Louisville halfway house.

Nicholas Thornton is charged with complicity to murder.  Randy Bowman faces murder and tampering with physical evidence charges.  Both were in court Tuesday morning.

The stabbing happened at the Dismas House on Oak Street on June 16th.  Police say Thornton distracted a Dismas House employee while Bowman used an ice pick to stab Deann Elliott to death.

Thorton is in jail on a $100,000 full cash bond.   Bowman is behind bars on a $500,000 full cash bond.
