Kroger beef recall includes Kentucky, Indiana

Before you put those hamburgers on the grill, check the sell-by date.

That's because Kroger is recalling ground beef in more than twenty states, including Kentucky and Indiana because of possible E-coli contamination.

The recall involves ground beef in styrofoam tray packages wrapped in clear cellophane or purchased from an in-store service counter.

It affects packages with the sell-by dates between May 21st through July 3rd.  You can return it to the store for a full refund.

If you have any questions about the recall, you can contact Kroger toll-free at 800-632-6900.
