Tip from Tennesee leads Metro Police to Louisville murder

Metro police continue to search for the person who killed a man in a rural home in Louisville.

A tip from a police department in Clarksville, Tennessee that lead Metro Police to a home on Old Heady Road.

At around 6 p.m. Tuesday, officers say they found the body of a 56-year-old man.

Investigators found the man outside a home on the property.

This scene is in a remote area of Louisville, almost to the Spencer County line.

Officers say the Clarksville, Tennessee police tipped them off that something could be wrong at the home.

Detective Phil Russell says officers do have a suspect in mind.

That person is not expected to be in the Louisville area right now.

Metro police are working with police in Tennessee to find the suspect.
