Metro Council to take up issue of explosives at Cardinal Hill Reservoir

We could know Thursday night if explosives will be placed at the Cardinal Hill Reservoir.

Metro Council is expected to vote on whether to pull funding for the plan.

Police say a steel container will temporarily store grenades, artillery shells, or other explosives that are found throughout the city.

Funding for the facility was approved in the city budget.   The council votes Thursday night on whether to pull the funding.

The Council meeting is at six at City Hall.
